Walk With Me

“Walk With Me” is an exhibition featuring works by Gabriella Brown. The work on view showcases findings on walks and the impulse to share our everyday experiences. This body of work explores Brown as both an artist and poet drawn to the text embedded in the world around them featuring several paintings in both gouache and acrylic, several detailed with colored pencil. Take a walk with the artist in this body of work exploring both found text as well as Brown’s own poetry as a way to give context to pressing issues such as public health, climate change, and social justice. The viewer is invited to pay attention to the residual effects of these issues on the world around us.
